At Pilates Pro we are committed to an integrated approach to physical wellbeing that shifts the current rehabilitation and conditioning paradigm to emphasize optimal movement for long-term results. At every stage of the rehabilitation/conditioning process we teach our clients that building bodies to move with ease, efficiency and power depends on clear intention about what movement is, where it comes from and how it works. We maintain a high level of ongoing education and utilize the neuromuscular principles the pilates method and the neurofascial science of fascial therapy to achieve self-sufficiency and empowerment in our sessions. In short, our clients’ results create our reputation.

Our Philosophy

In 2006 Jenine Saunders, a British-trained Physiotherapist, recognized a need for the unique blend of Physiotherapy and Pilates while working in Physiotherapy clinics in Sudbury.  In 2010 a centre was created where people can receive high quality treatment, learn about their posture and movement while improving their overall well being in a relaxed and healing setting.  In 2016  Joanne McKee, Registered Physiotherapist with over 16 years experience in both private practice and long term care homes joined forces and together have created a unique protocol that successfully treats even the most complex chronic conditions.

The sum of Jenine and Joanne’s experiences results in a comprehensive understanding of the science of human kinetics and sports injuries.  Through their collective knowledge of human anatomy and primal movements,  the emphasis is in creating functional movement patterns, while improving posture for improved lifestyle and quality of life. The Pilates method when combined with fascial therapy, is excellent for the rehabilitation of injuries, improving postural problems & relieving chronic pain all over the body, as well as targeting any imbalances in the body before they cause injury or dysfunction.

Jenine and Joanne passionately believe that exercise is the route to a speedy recovery, improved health and an overall sense of well being. This belief is reflected in Pilates Pro which is conveniently located in downtown Sudbury.
