Founder and Director Jenine Saunders completed an honors degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Manchester, England in 2005 and began studying and practicing the Pilates Method in 2003 at the STOTT Pilates International Training Centre in Toronto. As part of her thesis, she researched the benefits of Pilates on the general population suffering with chronic low back pain (CLBP) through the University of Manchester’s School of Physiotherapy. After graduation, Jenine returned to Canada and went on to develop her skills and gain experience in private physiotherapy clinics before specializing in Pilates Rehabilitation. In 2011, she became a Pilates Rehabilitation Specialist and in 2013, an Advanced MELT Practitioner. Most recently, Jenine became licensed as an Intensive Fletcher Pilates Instructor and has acquired other skills and training in Neuro Kinetic Therapy.
As well as qualifications in Physiotherapy, Pilates, and fascial therapy, she has many years experience as a group fitness instructor/personal trainer and has taught many forms of exercise classes ranging from indoor cycling to helping clients realize their fitness goals through learn to run and half marathon clinics.
Kevin Sloan is a registered physiotherapist whose clinical experience includes treating soft tissue injuries and myofascial pain with The Gunn Method Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS).
